Do I detect wine made out of sour grapes?
I doubt if you would be saying the same if it had been the other way around and Blackpool had finished 3rd.
That's the way the Championship works and Blackpool beat Forest twice in the playoffs.
Accept defeat with some grace and good luck to Forest next season.
Cheers

sorry i cant i feel we have been robbed!

I don't think Blackpool will manage to get less points than Derby.
Don't forget these Premiership teams won't like playing on Blackpool's sand.

"Enjoy your day of glory today, because other than the novelty of playing big clubs like Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Everton, Villa etc., I can't see you having much to cheer about next season."
You may well be right. But we beat Newcastle at Bloomfield Rd and I dont recall anyone saying that they will automatically go back down next season. But like I said they have got there on one of the smallest budgets in the Championship which can only be great news for football lovers as opposed to those who salivate at getting their club taken over by a bunch of oil rich sheikhs.
"Still, better Blackpool than Cardiff... hope they sink without trace."
Which is what would probably happen to Chelsea if Abramovich got bored! Loss before tax ?47 million, debts over ?700 million.
So much for breaking even in 2010! If he decided to pull out, they would currently be doing a Portsmouth.

we8derby,
Even if we have yet to see those Blackpool togs posting some photos of KatieK in a Blackpool shirt, here is a girl in a Forest top to cheer readers up.

Get the lube ready cos next season will be the biggest dry bumming in the history of Blackpool FC. Your squad is good enough to make the bottom 3 and no more. Enjoy the one season and spend the money wisely.

Well even if we go straight down, as long as we spend wisely as you suggest which is exactly what Blackpool have done in the Championship and in the lower divisions (they were in Div 2 10 years ago) the team will be made financially secure for the next 10 years.

I assume that since Blackpool got promoted today you have over indulged in alcoholic refreshments.
When you sober up you will no doubt recall that Chelsea are debt free.
