I believe we should have a system that aims to ensure all who are capable of doing a job have a suitable one to give them a sense that they can achieve something and make at least some contribution to their basic day-to-day living expenses, with the state providing for the costs and support for their disability be it physical or mental.

The problem is we have almost 2.5 million registered as unemployed and available for work as well as all those living on the welfare state.

Unless we ever get a government that supports and encourages industry to dramatically reduce unemployment and make the UK far less reliant on imports finding work for those who are classed as disabled will continue to be almost impossible.
