'Misplaced Childhood' by Marillion is most famous for the song 'Kayleigh'. Huge numbers of girls born that year were christened Kayleigh as a result. They are all 24 years old now. Kayleigh Pearson, the glamour model, and every other Kayleigh you have heard of, were named after that song. But back to the question: one album that I think is a genuine masterpiece is 'The Joshua Tree' by U2. One of the greatest albums ever released.
