I knew a Pakistani cpl when I was in the Kate and he always referred to himself and his ilk as Pakis. Short for Pakistani.
The only ones who think the word derogatory are the self appointed boring fucking asian shitstirrers, and there was one on Fridays Jeremy Vine programme. Boy, was she fucking sensitive or fucking what. She refused to have it any other way that the word Paki was racist.
I don't like being called a honkey but the Afros get away with calling us that.
Derogatory racist words can be gleaned from American English. The fucking Yanks have got to be the most arrant racist bastards on earth. In English, nigger is a dark brown colour, whether it originated from Nigeria I do not know but I suspect it did. But, as most of the slaves, captured by Arabs and other Africans, went to America from there the slave owners called them niggers, and that word has stuck as being racist. Thanks to the fucking Yanks.
