This was an idea i tried to float years ago i remember some ten years back chatting with Shakina Shergold about making a porn mock up of the sitcom Friends with Shakina playing Monica [Courtney Cox] who she sort of resembled, of course it never got off the ground as i couldnt find a Jennifer Anniston lookalike who would do porn, but they mentioned Friends in that clip and it would have been great to have got one over on the Yanks if us Brits had produced a porn version before they even thought about it !wink!

I know the Rebellious one did Rearenders (watched it the other night).....i think its a great idea,so long as you can get the humour in with the sex...and just look how long the series ran! ... and the guests they got on! I for one hope this bares fruit at some point as li like friends...Or Scrubs, that has endles possibilities... !wink!. x

I think porn movies are at their best as 'spoofs' (no pun intended).

When you consider that most TV shows have spunk-rats somewhere in their casts, its only natural that porn versions take advantage of all the fantasizing that goes on. As a kid, I use to conjure up special episodes of 'The Brady Bunch' with Marcia doing all sorts or un-ladylike things.

As for finding porn actresses that can play mainstream stars, well Jesse Jane can do a perfect Jamie Pressley.

They didn't work in the US, they are laughable in Germany, and
even Relish didn't manage to, um, pull it off.

I dissagree jj i think comedy and porn can work well together especially in times of recession when everone needs cheering up, maybe i will make a porn spoof of Ugly Betty now that would be a challenge, i would find a really gorgeous girl and make her look.... well ugly and then once people realise that the ugly duckling is really a beautifull swan they would all be staying in to watch it, i bet more people would watch that than are currently watching Big Brother !wink!

Porn can work on many levels if the right person understand of his subject matter executes it well.

To reduce porn to just wanking matter is limiting its appeal. Russ meyer made a nice living off women with unfeasibly large breasts jiggling them across the screen in ridiculous situations.

Porn can be mature, dark or plain out and out infantile. it all works because it just depends on which level of stimulation works.

One mans meat is anothe rmans poison. Just cos you have something you prefer to wank over doesnt mean other people do the same.

Im entertained by all sorts of movies. I watchthe big mega epics and even (shock horror) the odd rom com and art house movie.

There is no reason why porn cannot be the same. Anyone who has seen Anatomy of Hell will see that. Odd and twisted and got through the BBFC. baise Moi was soft porn and got through, even with the idea a man getting shot up the arse with a gun.

Russ meyer..Im advised the music gave it something special ? ...Would this work- a porn comedy ,based on REAL people actually known and loved/other, in the industry- with the names changed to protect peoples identities, no onewould actually "get it" unless they followed the threads on the UKap/Bgafd, and it would get an art house/cult following- small, but die hard.. ... x x
