First Premier Division Manager to be sacked?
Ladies and Gentlemen, I opne the bidding on Mark Hughes.
Re: First Premier Division Manager to be sacked?
If there's any justice, Phil Brown - no signings yet and just 2 wins in the last 29 games
They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
Re: First Premier Division Manager to be sacked?
While not wishing to be pedantic, do you mean sacked. or "leave their job" (mutual constent etc).
Often the first premier manager to leave is quite unexpected, wasnt it Allardyce at Newcastle last year (I may be wrong).
This year I guess Joe Hart at Portsmouth must be a good candidate.
Loads of players have left, few new ones joined, ownership of the club up in the air.
If the new owner comes in then Joe may be the first out the door.

I think Sparky will be safe for a bit. The Arabs have just let him spunk about ?100 million of their cash on various units, so it would make sense to give him at least half a season to try and mould them into a team. I agree that after a season they would want to see a return on their money or he's toast.

There is always lots of talk regarding Benitez, so unless he comes out firing it could be him.
Re: First Premier Division Manager to be sacked?
I cant believe Birmingham Goalkeeper Joe Hart has joined Portsmouth as manager, he's only a young guy so he may get the sack first, as he has very little experience!!!
In all seriousness, Phil Brown at Hull will be first in my op.

Gary Megson's possibly worth a punt - the crowd at Bolton not only dislike his style of football and his signings, they hate the bloke to boot!
