KATIE Price is learning how to rub shoulders with Hollywood?s elite...in method acting classes.

She is spending a fortune on lessons in the technique that has won Robert De Niro two Oscars and four further nominations for classics such as Raging Bull and Taxi Driver.

Katie ? better known as Jordan ? is anxious to shed her reality TV and glamour queen images after talking over her future with talent bosses at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles.

The agency represents Tinseltown titans like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Will Smith, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz and Miley Cyrus.

Katie is desperately trying to break into the big time Stateside but last week failed an audition for a small role as a ?large breasted English girl? in Sex And The City 2.

Now, however, a CAA insider says: ?She?s aiming much higher than walk-on bimbo parts and we reckon she?s a rough diamond who can be shaped and polished for much better things.?

In her $1,000-a-?session method classes, Katie will learn to think, feel and live like the characters she?s playing in full-blown rehearsals ? just like De Niro does in his famous roles.

His often-quoted line: ?You talkin? to me?? in the 1976 classic Taxi Driver wasn?t even in the script.

He ad-libbed it after working 12-hour shifts for three months as a real New York cabbie.

Katie has already received a huge boost from British actor Rupert Everett who said of her: ?If I had the choice of being on a desert island with Jordan or Gwyneth Paltrow, I?d choose Jordan.?
