I've been given a "zero percent" pay rise this year.

I agree with you on that Reggie, even when Brown's trying to come across as nice he just can't do it. He was getting snippy with Nick Robinson who was asking him prefectly reasonable questions. He can't bear criticism or being challenged in any way, which is a pretty poor character trait in a politician.

Is he clever? He thinks he is. He was Chancellor during the biggest economic boom in history. He managed to convince himself that it was his genius which caused it, so now he's having a problem explaining why we have a massive economic recession. It can't be his fault, because he never makes mistakes, so he blames it on America, unless his new best friend Mr Obama is in the room, in which case he grins weirdly and fiddles with his balls.

The bloke is a total joke. He will probably lead Labour to a landslide defeat and 12 years of tory govt which is a fcking scary thought. The labour MPS should have shown some backbone and got Alan Johnson in there that way they would have had a bloke with a bit of charisma who has done an ordinary job. This Brown just seems like a social inedaquate.
