'Blair Babe' Hazel Blears has become the latest rat to desert the sinking (stinking) ship, HMS New Labour. It is a pity that she was allowed to 'jump' over something so relatively trivial. She should have been booted out ages ago for being one of the most inefectual, incompetent, dishonest and annoying ministers ever (that's if we don't include Prescott).
Good riddance to her. Now what about the rest of them?

She'll pick up 20k for resigning as a Minister, which is what they all get, she'll keep her MP's salary which is over 1k a week and within 2 or 3 days she will get numerous directorships (trading off the contacts she made in Whitehall) so her annual income will actually skyrocket. She will be employed purely because she will be able to open doors for these companies in Whitehall. It's all corrupt. She's about to become very rich.
