Over a Friday and Saturday night yes. Anything from 5-8 pints on each evening.

Eh?

You want to bring in the subjugation of women, Jews and Christians, and the death penalty for gays, atheists and apostates, just because you don't like drinking and drinkers' behaviour (sometimes)?

I didn't know you was a fascist, Reggie.

As pointed out about the recommended intake levels are utter made-up bollocks - they're the amount the government would like you to drink, but have nothing to do with what 'harm' that amount of alcohol can do.

I reckon you can easily handle double the recommended doses over many years with no discernable health concerns. If you become ill, you would probably have done so in any case.

I think the 'scientists' would have you believe you can get cancer from such things as coffee, bacon and burnt toast --- the truth is they don't really know. Some people who eat burnt toast may get cancer, but I doubt it's attributable to the toast - and even if it is, they've probably got a defective gene.

I just take my chances like anyone else, I don't really do alcohol or anything else to excess. If I get cancer, I'll die - seeing I probably wouldn't go to a doctor until it was too late.

I just don't listen to health advice from 'professionals' - I do what I think is ok for me. I could be mistaken, but looking back, my guess at what's good is as good as theirs.
