Reggie, I dont support them. I recognise a mandate when I see one, that's all. It's like Northern Ireland - there were some people there who were absolutely furious at being co-governed, and often having to work with, people who have done dreadful things in the past (possibly still doing) and who have awful views. But they all recognised that those people had a mandate from the people and therefore respected that. If someone whose parent was killed by the IRA can accept Gerry Adams as their MP, or possibly work with him in committees, then Boris Johnson should recognise the BNP guy on the London assembly and he should be able to go to the Palace like anyone else.
