Ok, Eric, we'll leave it.
Maybe I was just confused because in your 3rd reply to me (I started out replying to max, btw, and you began our debate together, before someone accuses me of being difficult!) you clearly stated: "That whole thing was just one big tasteless, nauseating media circus. And THAT is why she's being slated here."
You admit that it's Jade being slated and the general theme of your posts have mainly been about defending that stance. According to those 2 small statements Jade is fair game for attack due to the media circus. Now, this is fine with me; all I was doing was attempting a defence of Jade Goody's actions and decisions which encouraged this 'circus'. I just explained that she did the right thing for her own, and her family's sake. My stance is that she doesn't deserve to be attacked for earning a living while you seem unsure due to contradictions from post to post.
You're now saying it was never about her earning but just the media circus itself that leaves the bad taste, and this was the main gist of this thread (contradicting your statement above). You see, the media circus was her earning wasn't it? No circus = no money for Jade. So when you said it had nothing to do with her earning then you were clearly mistaken. Slating Jade for her part in the media circus is synonymous with slating her for earning. Do you agree?
I think it's this mistake from you was the catalyst for our misunderstandings and so now I've pointed it out as best as I can I hope we can reach some agreement. Or maybe not......(?)
You haven't seen colonel around have you? I like getting to the bottom of things you see and it looks like we're verging on doing just that. Me and colonel just need to finish this debate on what his/Labour's definition of 'underclass' is and then we can move on. It just leaves things messy when you make bold statements and have nothing solid to base them on. Doesn't everyone agree?
As for me and you, Eric, I agree that we should give it a rest now.
Dank!

You could have just provided a link to the wiki page, crofter.
The number of choices were limited, I agree, but they were based on Jade's decision making which logically leads to the justification to be slated on here. I've since replied to Eric which might cover some of your concerns so feel free to take a look.
Oh, and you've still not got the hang of replying properly. Your intelligence is beginning to look a little Jadesque! I'm sure if she'd been posting here all these years that she'd have worked it out now. What do you think, gormless?

Cheers Eric but I was never a fan of Mrs Goody. I don't read the red tops either so this might explain why the media circus hasn't affected me the same way it has you.
Do you get the red tops over in Germany?

Oh, and as for stirring the proverbial shite.....
Most of my participation in this thread has been a debate with me and Eric, which he instigated after I replied to max (check). You've called me out a fair few times though, crofter, so who's the stirrer?

Re: The Jade Goody business: a new low for Britain?
I was in my local Tesco's an hour ago and I see on the cover of the Daily Star that Goody's pretend husband is intending (when he is out of jail long enough to do it) to "write" a book about her. This will be of course written by someone else and he will be treated as a hero, even though he is a lowlife, and get the respect of an author even though he never wrote a word. This is all bad, to make heaps of money like that when you are pondlife yourself - but to do it cashing in on your partner's death is something I can not get my head round and is clearly obscene! And, like I've alluded to a few times, what effect will it have on Goody's son's? But no one really cared about them anyway, they were just props in a play to make all the adults around them lots of money.

...and of course, none of the salt-of-the-earthers leaving their heartfelt drivel/'tribiutes' can actually spell their empty words correctly
They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
