New York

Post by texaspete »

Hi all,

I am planning on going to New York at Christmas. I would be planning to do all the touristy things possible...where is the best area to stay in?

We always used to stay in the Milford Plaza which is on 4th and 47th I think. So pretty much right in the middle. One piece of advice though, get a room above the 2th floor if you want to sleep avoiding the street noise below.

We stayed on Central Park South on the 42nd floor,so no traffic noise. It seemed handy for many of the sights etc. They were even filming Sex And The City outside the hotel, lol.
