Half of those fresh off the bus in LA were looking for fame and stardom in Hollywood and found porn less hassle.

Cynical? Yes but true. it wouldnt be the first time either...Didnt the girl who did the soap ads in the 70's star in "Behind The Green Door"? and caused major controversy at the time (which helped sell the movie even more).

Difference these days is that the US porn scene has mainstream acceptance more than it used to.

Let's be honest Mainstream/XXX transitions don't come along very often so to some yes it is quite a bid deal - maybe the work dried up and it was either Porn or Celeb Big Brother and obviously she has a big of DIGNITY, so decided XXX!wink!

Yeah ok Crofter big deal for me but what i mean is there are plenty girls in US porn that couldve gone th emainstream route...Obviously the big bucks and the immediate access to it is more tempting than trying to beat down the front doors of mainstream.

Why not take the back door of notoriety and see where it goes? Im sure this is the thinking behind a girl considering the valley over Hollywood.

Some are cynical to say (ie me) that if you are sucking some casting agents cock for no guarantee of that acting job why not do it in porn star and get paid for it.

Theres something brutally and refreshingly honest about porn. I would like to hear Kelli McCartys reason for it. I wonder if her view will be similar.
