Couple of years back I got three points and 60 quid fine for inadvertantly doing 30 over Tower Bridge. In my feeble attempt at mitigation I pointed out that the 20mph limit signing wasn't very obvious and that I'd simply missed it in the darkness of a december morn at 6.00. I was told that the fabric and integrity of the bridge was so precious that it would be detrimental to put up more signs.
Couple of days ago, three bozos from Top Gear drove a tracked apc over the bridge. Clearly its fabric and integrity are no longer under threat.
I want my points and money back.

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

My former bosses wife racked up thousands of dollars of fines and spent them all in the local library.A former teacher she thought it was a hoot
Another tack if you can be bothered is to find what actually under pins the charge/road rule.Been a few cases in Adelaide over the decades where they've been challenged sucessfully because of inadequate or non-existant legislation
