Could you please tell me who are these bombers who are running the north of Ireland. The Omagh bombing was one of the worst days in Irelands sad history but in no way was it linked to any way to any of the people now in government. I have no love for any terrorists but get your facts right before you post bullshit.swampthing wrote:

I always thought that Ian (no surrender) Paisley was partial to a pound of Semtex or two.. After all, he became Northern Ireland's first minister along with Martin (pint of) McGuinness as his deputy.

We'll probably never know the real truth of who did what. There are so many backroom deals, crosses, double-crosses and politicians saying one thing in public - and doing the exact opposite in practice. I'm sure many reputable politicians are indirectly responsible for numerous murders, it's all par for the course. At the end-of-the-day the means justify the outcome in some cases - although in every case the personal suffering is too much to bear for the individuals caught up in the goings on. I stopped looking for reasons or justifications for any event a long time ago ? shit happens, so just be thankful if you?re not caught up in it ... and if you are, hope it's a quick end.
