What a cool tune, no wonder people look back on the 70's and forget all the bad stuff.....
Grooviest Theme Tune Ever?
Grooviest Theme Tune Ever?
They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?

You must be joking - that was about the worst theme tune ever. It seems to be based on 'A walk in the Black Forest'.

Not much cop, sorry.
Mind you, though millions tuned in the show was pretty dire. What sort of 'magic' is it when all you do is simply dub your own voice over some old gibbon clips etc?
What fools we were.

"Let's do it..."

Cisst Strut by The Meters. Tarantino used it as Beaumonts Theme in Jackie Brown. It was also used for the Brylcreem advert.

Still think the original James Bond theme takes some beating.
Still sounds GREAT after all these years. It has an underline of menace.
Always been arguments between John Barry and Monty Norman about who wrote it.
In the 1960s Monty Norman wrote a musicial called "Completing the cirlcle" with a tune called "Good Sign Bad sign" which includes the "james bond theme" (before james bond of course).
Go to this YouTube video and scroll forward to 3 minutes 25seconds and you can hear the song "Good sign bad sign" which is rather eerie.
