In which case you seem to be missing out on quite a bit of good music...
LL Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest, Notorious B.I.G., Dr Dre, Outkast, Ludacris, Nas, 2 Pac, Black Eyed Peas, Lauren Hill, Wyclef Jean to name but a few acts worth listening to.
You've probably listened to a lot of stuff from these artists and others, tapped your feet to the rhythm and never even realised your were enjoying listening to rap!

Watched him one xmas on tv i fell assleep.
Re: Glastonbury 2008
I only saw the Glastonbury TV coverage on the Sunday and of the bands i saw i was impressed with Eddy Grant, The Zutons , The Verve and a new band The Pigeon Detectives.
I had hoped to see the Leonard Cohen set but it was not shown. Unless i missed it
One word of criticism of the BBC coverage . Why do we need that amount of presenters . Let the music do the talking.
Would love to see that amount of coverage given to the Cambridge Folk Festival if only on BBC 3 or 4
What bands were other readers impressed with, and ones they were not. I expect AW could top that list

You're right - I have listened to some of that stuff and it is ok in moderation. I like selected things from Notorious B.I.G., Dr Dre, 2 Pac --- but Outcast or Black Eyed Peas, I've just never heard anything of theirs I like. But Outcast does stick in my mind for about the most annoying song of the decade, that Hey Ya! Wyclef Jean seems to be pretty influential in music circles, although what or who he influences I'm not sure - all I know is his name gets a lot of mentions.
