I nominate U.S thrash metal band Slipknot.I can't over nor under rate them,because i can't understand a single word of their lyrics !happy!dimi wrote:

Madness are legends.Their lyrics were comical as were their video's and they were a band that never took themselves seriously.They also shared an amazing raport with their fans at their live gigs.

If a Band sells bucketloads of albums,does that make them overated?

An overated band imo is a band that tries to copy other bands,ie:Radiohead-Pink Floyd:Coldplay-U2:Razorlight-Rolling Stones etc etc.

My favourite recent/new band is The Enemy,who hail from Coventry.
My favourite band from the past 5 years is Vegas's finest,The Killers.They headlined Glastonbury last year,and headlined it with class.I think they're booked for Wembley Stadium next year,and i'm going !thumbsup!.

I would say Pearl Jam. They have become better with time as a live band. The transition from grunge to folk in the long list of tracks gives them depth.
