Listening to 606. Apparently Torres wasn't injured so who knows?

Still seems daft how he puts a winger on after taking Torres off, and leaving 2 strikers on the bench.

Madness.

A number of points. I thought over the 2 legs that Chelsea shaded it. As a Liverpool fan that is gutting to say! The first leg we did not take our chances, should have been 2-0 at least and the o.g. was a disaster!
As for the second leg, we were rubbish in th first half, much better in the second, but again we did not create enough when we were on top!
Frank Lampard certainly went up in my estimation. I had a funny feeling he would get a goal. I guess after winning the last to encounters the tide was sure to turn! All i ask is you beat the Manc scum in the final!

P.S What's up with Abranovich? Where was he last night, sunday and last week? If i was a Chelsea fan i would be getting a tad worried. Is he losing interest? Apparently has not been to a game since the Leauge cup final against Spurs. If he goes the bubble will burst!

Congratulations Ace and the Chelsea boys. Must say unlucky to Liverpool as I do enjoy their exploits in the Europe.

Glad at least one London club is in the final, even if begrudgingly its the blues and not my young whipper snapper Gooners.

But an all England final. Blinding result.
Feel Rafa made a boob last night, but you can't be lucky all of the time.

I've never really been a gracious loser. I usually just keep quiet and say nothing.

Seriously though good luck in the final (I can hear the sound of gritted and grinding teeth whilst typing that). !sad!

I thought I'd be more upset but I'm generally okay about it. Like Arsenal, a brief moment at the top of the premiership raised expectations too much.

I am optimistic about next season. Hicks and Gillette really messed everything up. No-one can replace Rafa and the team looks very good - except, unfortunately, Riise whom I've always liked but obvious his talent has gone.

I would put Liverpool on par with Arsenal and Chelsea now. They could've and should've won the home ties. But if you look at the table, Liverpool's two flaws were - too many draws and the one obstacle Rafa needs to overcome next season, Man U. Only four defeats and two were to the Mancs. If those results were reversed, Liverpool would still be in contention.

My only major criticism of Rafa is the 4-5-1 formation because Crouch has been unfairly underused and a Torres-Crouch strike partnership would be incredible. The only reason I can think of doing this is because Gerrard hates playing on the right.

What a game. The Bridge was rocking last night. The lads played out of their skins, and Drogba managed to stay on his feet(for a change).

Special praise has to go to Frank Lampard. It took alot of guts and guile to play, and to take the penalty. One would have to have a heart of stone not to share Frank's emotions.

A cracking match and a thrilling night. The sun is shining in West London,in more ways than one !happy!
