I agree.

While they aren't quite as hateful as Leeds, a humiliating season for Liverpool would be very enjoyable. If they don't end up in Europe this season i'll piss myself laughing.

They'll never fall the way Leeds have though. Liverpool are a big club. Leeds are a provincial side who were big in the 70's.

Their tradition & henceforth brandname will mean their will always be someone to bail them out

I'd doubt even a weakened liverpool team would finish bottom 3 with the state of the current lower EPL teams

The problem with Liverpool fans is that they live off their history. This is evident with that hideous 'we won it 5 times' song.We don't need to be reminded every five minutes what they've won.the bottom line is they simply are not good enough to win the premiership at present, and they will fall further behind as the likes of Arsenal,Man U and Chelsea get stronger, unless they appoint a manager like Martin O'Neil,Jose Mourinho.

The Liverpool fans that piss me off are the one's who live South of Watford and have never seen the sky over Anfield, opting for their cosy setees instead of actually attending matches.

They're the one's that do most of the whinging funny enough !happy!

Maybe its got something to do with the 2 champions league final appearances in the last 4 years or the 4 trophies in 1 season

Kind of glosses over the shortcomings of the team over the long haul of an EPL season

No pundits ever tip them but they keep pulling off minor miracles

Would make a good trivial pursuit question

Name the English Premier league Team that has appeared in 2 champions league finals since 2000?

I wonder how many would go Man U,Arsenal,Chelsea...no idea?

I'd forgotten about the Celtic games

To be fair Celtic back then were on a roll and had a reasonable squad
(henrik larsson)

They made the final which tells you something
