I can honestly see the whingeing scousers become a mid table club with mega debts if they don't improve on the field. 350M debt takes some servicing, and the new stadium hasn't been built yet.
No Champions League and you can wave bye bye to Gerrard and his ilk.

One can only hope they are another Leeds... it would be fully deserved.

I think Rafa Benitez is a dead man walking. I can't see him managing LFC next season.

can't see it, too big a global fan base too end up in real difficulties, and if they did there's always the Middle East connections to bail them out
wouldn't wish what happened to us on any other club, no matter my feeling for them

we are Leeds.... , and we can still beat the mighty Chester
Re: Are Liverpool the new Leeds?
No they won't end p like Leeds. The D.I.C lot will take over from the yanks.
Re: Are Liverpool the new Leeds?
Rafa will be sacked by Easter as Inter will knock them out of the Champions League-hence Liverpool's season over.
I'd put money on Martin O'Neil becoming their next manager.Scousers would never accept Jose Mourinho, who will no doubt end up at Barca or Meelan

No he'll be there at the end of the season no matter what happens in the Champs League as there is no second in command too take over as a caretaker manager.

Benitez will be sacked this week after losing heavily to Internazionale, who, frankly, are streets ahead of LFC. Too much tinkering with formation and line-ups, plus outlay on players who aren't up-to-it, have done for him. Can't say I have too muc sympathy. He shows scorn to the watching fans with his idiotic squad rotation. Dead man walking.

Why will it be fully deserved?

Sounds jealous of what they have won over the decades by the sounds of it. Lol!
