I would say that Ukraine are a far better side than the Russians who finished above England in the Euro Qualifying - especially at home. It is quite strange how the English press talk the biggest load of shite you can imagine, one minute it is "English Football in Crisis" and then just 2 or 3 days later "We should win that Group quite comfortably" what a strange, strange mentality and think some of them should take a reality check. But as I say Ukraine are proably the worst team anybody could have got from "Pot 3".
Looks like we are going to be minus Big Eck for our qualifying campaign, I really do wonder if he wasn't planning to be in the job when qualifying starts then wtf was he doing there??
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

The press have to do what they do. Building up the team as much as possible is a good ploy because when it fails, that failure will be a bigger story than it otherwise would.

Scandals sell papers, we all know this.

It matters not. The Arab & other Muslim nations wouldn't play Israel - and if they did, it would lead to deaths galore.

England manged to play the Irish during the IRA's bombing campaigns, and played Argentina ok not long after the Falklands.

The Muslim nations hatred of Israel runs deeper.

Any group in asia would be tough for Australia

They got their asses whipped by oman & iraq in the group stages of the asian cup before saving face with a 3-0 win to finally go out 1-0 to japan in the quarters

Truth is they were 2nd rate and complacent of the opposition
and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't get through who ever they've been drawn to play...south korea?japan?
