Sorry, big guy, with all the probs here last night I didn't read the original q.

It's a quote from 'Gargantua and Pantagruel' by Rabelais, a French comic
writer of the 16th c. Alas, he wrote in Latin only. The story is a bit like
'Gormenghast', if that rings a bell, but his point at the time was to slag-off
the then Church 'Establishment'.

Pantagruel enters a tower where there is an ecclesiastical library and he reads
out the titles- one of which is my tag. In Medieval Lat. it translates roughly
as "a most subtle question: whether a Chimera buzzing like a bee in a bottle
is capable of devouring puns". AFAICT it's a piss-take of the 'learned' men
of the time who were SERIOUSLY arguing about exactly how many Angels
could dance on the head of a pin...... !!!!!
