If the concept of "poverty" does exist why do the "poor":
1). Have the money to buy the latest sports kit.
2). Have the money to purchase the lastest and fashionable sports trainers.
3). Have the money to have tattoo's engraved over their bodies.
4). Have the money to buy gold jewellery.
5). Have the money to have their hair permed and blonde highlights put in.
6). Have the money to have fake tan's put over their bodies.
7). Have the money to buy copious amounts of alcohol.
8). Have the money to purchase vast quantities of tobacco products.
9). Have the money to purchase drugs.
10). Have the money to purchase weapons.
I could go on.
If these people are allegedly "poor" where to the get the finance to pay for all the above?

Curiously enough, not everyone who is a lower class oik in your view is necessarily poor or impoverished. There will always be those to whom appearance is more important than anything else---and their tattoos (no apostrophe), tans (more than one=plural-no apostrophe), and bling will take priority; just as some whose lives revolve around tobacco, booze, drugs, bingo, scratch cards, whatever, will find the cash to pay for them.
However, there are people living under the poverty line who struggle to keep themselves and their families going; pensioners (oooh, look, another plural---so no fucking apostrophe) that have to choose between food and heating. Don't see them covered in tattoos, shite jewellery or with an orange "tan" to go with their designer sports gear and hairdos.
Just carry on wearing your blinkers. Don't believe the statistics about children below the poverty level, or houses being repossessed.
