Sad to announce the boot faced "comedienne" is to be in every fucking episode of the new Doctor Who series.
Seems Russell T is going thru the entire list of BBC celebrities as guests. Next series will also feature Alan Titmarks, Len Goodman, Paxman and hopefully a scantily clad Dr Alice Roberts off Coast!!

Re: Catherine Tate in Doctor Who
Either a stroke of genius, or proof that he's trying to kill the show off so he can escape.
She wasn't nearly as annoying in the Christmas special as I thought she'd be, but the story was awful. According to SFX, he's writing four episodes of season four----but the great news is that Steven Moffat is doing a two-parter.

I simply can not understand why the BBC, and others in the media, slobber and salivate over this alleged "female"? !confused!

Re: Catherine Tate in Doctor Who
Russell T just dosn't get SciFi. He tries to add too many undercurrents to each script and ends up losing the plot. Last Saturday's episode was a mess. Bringing the master back as a Tony Blair lookalike played by the time travelling John Sim was so contrived it was embarassing. The old Master played by Roger Delgado (great name!) was genuinely sinister, Sim played him for laughs.
Re: Catherine Tate in Doctor Who
Didn't he "appear" inside a dalek in season 1 or 2? He certainly talked about it.
