Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the other posts, i.e. the actual typed words, on other threads are sometimes squashed up?

The area in which the post appears is a white square. Now usually the type will go right across for the entire width of said white square. But in recent posts on other threads the typed words are only going half way across thus only filling the left half the square.
