Looks like the various sites got it right:
Freema on to Torchwood, but returning to Who in the latter part of next year's series. New companion for full series----The Scum claiming it might be Dr Tom from Saturday's episode.

I saw on the bbc news online page that rtd described the series as getting fantastic reviews.
Just a ridiculous comment and the fact that martha is out of the main series and into torchwood for half of series 4 can only point to unhappiness with her character response so far.
All i can hope for is that RTD does not write any episodes next series and remains in a overseeing role.
Standards have really slipped this season.
