Ok I can think of loads of examples where QT has taken chunks (much less than Davies ever has) of movies and used them as his own. For example:

The last 10 minutes of Resevoir Dogs is lifted straight from the Hong Kong Thriller by Ringo Lam, CITY ON FIRE .

And really who cares, to a new generation this stuff is new just like Star Wars was new to my generation but it was already done in Seven Samurai. I welcome the idea of Postmodernism, using new styles and concepts to create new ones. That's progress.

Then why even mention or make fun of the fact that he is gay? You could have just said he was a terrible writer but you seem to take great pleasure in making fun of the fact that he is gay to get your point across.
