Lucky escape,it looks like no members of the public have been injured,which is suprising, that part of the airport is usually mobbed.

Early reports are saying one of the asian men was throwing molotov cocktails at the car to try and get it to explode!shocked!

Iraq is just an excuse. Islam sees the western lifestyle, secularism, freedom of speech, womens' rights and scientific progress as a real threat to their medieval way of life. You can include certain orthodox Jew & Christian 'sects' in with that too, who are mainly based in America.

We were always out of the loop where the IRA were concerned, so we've not really had much experience of it.

Yet again, it's our way of life that seems to upset these people (the extreme religious types)----nightclub filled with women, an airport of folk going on holiday. So instead of taking away our personal freedoms (which doesn't help in the search for these nutters), don't give any ground. If it drives them crazy that we drink and dance and have fun, and women have lives of their own, then carry on with all that.
