I saw them at Wembley in the late 80's and they were fantastic apart from a positively awful drum solo by Mick Fleetwood that went on and on and on.

I've seen Splinter Group twice- not as good as it sounds as Peter handles the basic stuff and some guy called Nigel does the licks and fills.

Mind you- lets face it, its Peter Green. On stage. Who would have thought that would happen 15 years ago?

Lindsays guitar is custom designed by Rick Turner. He started playing it as a replacement for the Les Pauls around the time Tusk came out. Guitar geek is in the house!

Check out the track 'Roscoe' by Midlake. Sounds a lot like Mac.

Peter Green is up there with Blackmore, Beck, May and Page as one of Britain's true guitar gods.
Have seen Splinter Group twice, OK but he has lost the fire. Would love to twat the bloke who gave him the LSD that screwed his head.

A few years ago I was in HMV in Derby.

Peter Green was in front of me being served. I was chuffed to bits that I recognised him and for the fact I was standing next to the man who has written one of the best instrumental themes ever penned.

When he left I said to the guy who served him 'How does it feel to have served Peter Green'.

His answer 'Why, what does he do?'
