Come On, Come On, Rubber Chicken? Lay that 10 4 on me....

...or some such sh1t & bollox!

Damn glad I wasn't old enough or twisted enough to be a part of the CB brigade!

Didn't they all think they were 'cowboys' or 'truckers' or something? Truth is they all drove about in Ford Cortina Mk4's and then when CB died they took up line dancing... OMG!!!

I dont remember the name of it cos it was so long ago, or who the artist was but the lyrics went: "Im a Wanker, Im a Wanker, and it does me good like it bloody well should, Im a Wanker, Im a Wanker, and Im always pulling my Pud "

does anyone remember that song ? or who the artist was, I remember buying it sometime in the early 70's I think....funny how those lyrics came back to haunt me in later life.

Once again - guilty as charged (about the Cortina) but not guility to thinking we were truckers.

It was good fun though - and remember this was many, many years before the first mobile phones appeared.

It was also a good way to meet women - although it has to be said that a fair proportion of "lady-breaker-one-niners" did look like the back end of an artic. At least the ones round our way did.

CB died when it was legalised (around 1981-ish, IIRC). That basically took all the fun out of it so nobody bothered with it any more.

Worst single I ever bought? Has to be "Billy Don't Be A hero" by Paper Lace (1974).

Is it abit bad if you can't decide!!! No seriously its an easy choice

The Marines with a top hit Say Goodbye.

There were 3 of them, 3 girls on the front and on the back cover they were back to the camera in just their knickers. Whats a horny teenager to do!

Jeez , just looked it was 1989! I wasn't a teenager!!!
