Ace, you seen Mick's band Carbon/Silicon?
Saw them in Bedford last year (in fact I filmed it for them), they're pretty good too. Double fronted by Tony James of Sigue Sigue Sputnik (amongst others). Perty damn good.

Best live band, got to be Genesis.

Yes Chrome, seen Carbon Silicon several times, I'm always on the guest list from Mick as well. I was at Bedford when you filmed them (and have the DVD) on April 9th 2005....along with several other filmers.
The next day they played Coventry, and someone filmed it and has kept it to himself.....the bastard.
Two cracking shows, and worth noting Mick doesn't play Clash or BAD tunes, just Carbon Silicon and some old Blues covers

a fine band indeed a sort of supergroup in a way.
Re: The best live band??
Metallica back in '92 I think at the NEC.
James Brown put on a good show.
Seen, The Who last summer, they were freakin awesome.
The bad ones:
Snow Patrol were pretty boring.
The Foos on the last date of the tour, they were flying back to USA that night, and Dave Grohl's new bird was there with him, so he just rattled through the songs and left to catch his plane and fuck. They're usually quite good too.
