If there is such a place, please do not post the information on the forum, unless you are talking about non-certificated versions sourced from abroad. Selling R18 videos by mail order is illegal in the UK.

it's ironic, isn't it - if it's a legal video sold in a way the powers that be disapprove it's not ok, but if it's an illegal uncertified video, it's fine! the law's an ass, methinks.

Can anyone tell me of other 'harmful' products that are prohibited from being sold via mail order in the UK?
I suspect that you can buy knives, imitation guns, bleach, drugs (aspirin etc) via mail order, all of which is far more harmful to children than an R18 porn film IMHO.
Also, under proposed new legislation it will be a criminal offence to show/sell an R18 film to anyone under 18, but it is not and will continue not to be an offence to show/sell an uncertificated hardcore/violent/extreme video!
Thank God we have such sensible legislation in this country, or surely we would all be in a right ***king mess!

Eh? I'm pretty sure that it *is* an offence to sell an uncertificated video - if you sell from the UK to the UK.
The odd thing is that you can legally sell R18 vids (or ones which match the R18 guidelines via mail order if you do it from a
foreign country (ie if the company receiving payment is registered abroad (or at least receives payment via an address in a foreign country.)
To do this, the actual product could be produced and distributed in the UK, and need never leave these shores, I think. The legality seems to hinge on whether the orders are sent to a uk address or a foreign address.
I can't see that this situation will last very long, because it's so obviously stupid.

No, I don't.
However, a modicum of detective work, starting at the website of the people who certificated this video - meaning that it is completely legal - will give you a name to be going on with.
You should be able to get it at a licensed sex shop, where R18 can of course be legally sold.

Uncertificated videos are also illegal to sell in the UK by mail order or otherwise.

When Germany legalised porn in 1975 they only licensed it for sale through licensed Sex Shops.
This remains the case today and it is illegal to sell porn by Mail Order in Germany.
This law is largely ignored.
Maybe this will also happen in the UK - we can hope.
