Re: Dennis Potter
Yes i am a big fan of his writting.
He has written some excellent stuff and they have made the transition into tv series and have prodcued some outstanding programmes.
Singing Detective is probably my favourite, but also Pennies From Heaven, Lipstick on your Collar, Brimstone and Treacle- controversial and quite disturbing, Double Dare, Vote Vote, Vote for Nigel Barton, Blue Remembered Hills and Blackeyes are all well worth checking out.
Re: Dennis Potter
Some fantastic stuff .. one of my faves was the late period 'Lipstick On Your Collar' but there's lots of good stuff. 'Blackeyes' I recall being a bit of a disappointment (apart from Bellman of course), but then I think it followed 'The Singing Detective' so it was always disadvantaged in that respect.
Re: Dennis Potter
The three plays here are blade on the feather, ran on the roof,&cream in my coffee .All from 1980.

Re: Dennis Potter
I always enjoyed his work. "Lipstick on your collar", featuring a fresh-faced Ewan McGregor, was my favourite.
Re: Dennis Potter
a few months back ewan and woody allen were filming near my street.
Re: Dennis Potter
I remember Louise Germaine appeared in "Lipstick on your Collar" and another couple of Dennis Potter plays but seemed to appear in nothing else.
I remember her because before she got into acting she was in Mayfair and a couple of other top shelf mags.
A lovely looking girl not affraid to get her kit off.
