dvd store reviews?

Hi,
I cant find any reviews for a dvd store where im considering buying from so wondered if anyone has used them before please?

Dont want to plug the site unnecessarily so I hope you know who i mean by 'r18dvdshop'.

a search of all the forums under the businesses name will usually turn up some comment if there are no reviews in the links section

Oh dear, i wish id searched more thoroughly now.
I ordered last Thursday and although I received an email on Friday to confirm they'd authorized my card, i've still had no delivery.
I could only assume that if they received payment Friday, they would have sent Friday - or at least Saturday. Even second class post should have arrived today.
I hope ive not been ripped off.

The site says delivery is within 5 - 7 working days which would be anywhere from this Thursday to Monday of the following week

The site has now been taken over by Simply so the reviews you read are not up to date. The delivery times originally were when Jay was running the site and he'd send them out 1st class postage on the day he received the order.

Now with Simply the delivery times will be longer. Don't panic as you will get your order but it will take up to 10 days for it to arrive.

received a reply:

"Please accept our apologies for the delayed delivery of (item no.). This title proved so popular that we ran out of stock and we have to wait a short while for new stock to arrive. Fortunately this does not happen often but when it does, we are subject to how quickly the manufacturer can get new stock to us.

We are expecting new stock in shortly therefore your order will take immediate priority and be dispatched as soon as possible.

The site said the title was in stock, therefor im cancelling.
I can get it elsewhere quicker than this and at the same price. It was supposed to be a present, but now, I have no idea when it might arrive.
If it was out of stock, they should have informed me or stated this on their site. They were quick enough to take my money. I'm afraid my confidence in their service has taken a huge nose dive.
