The problem will be Eccleston is a class act he always has been from Let Him Have It to Cracker and Our Friends In The North all the other Doctors have been in for the long run i think the show depends how long the BBC can hold onto Him and the very good Billie Piper.

Woodgnome was referring to a technical problem that had some sound from the previous Norton prog on the Dr Who soundtrack...when Rose was in the basement at the start....you could hear audience applause.

I, like almost everyone else, really enjoyed it. One little picky pedantic question though. When the Dr's in Rose's flat and he mucking about reading Heat and shuffling playing cards...he looks in the mirror and says something like..."Mmmm, not bad...but those ears!" ....presumably this is a reference to his appearence following his latest regeneration. So if he's just regenerated....how come he's in all those pictures from 1963, the Titanic, Krakatoa etc...looking like his current self?

mainstream TV treats Science Fiction(late night filler,short term programming between major sporting events) its easy to see why fans of the genre accept whatever is dished up
