Post by Red vee »

I have an auction on Ebay running and have somebody wanting me to end the auction early and send the goods to Nigeria. Obviously I will not send till I get the cash, but I have had two email, consolidated below, and they ask that I send the goods now as the money has been approved otherwise it could delay me getting the money.

Peoples opinions please.

You shouldn't have any problems. Nigeria is known to have a population which is 100% trustworthy. You'll probably be rewarded by being given millions of dollars.

Never send any items unless you see the Cash first . too many scams running about at the moment, cash first questions later.

Just as much as I intended, cash then despatch. He did want my bank details so that he could 'pay' funds into my bank account. Just goes to show how good the internet is these days, he can see that I've got t*** across my forehead

This is a scam - even once you think funds have been transferred and you have had confirmation they can still be withdrawn.

Quite frankly, Nigeria in particular, needs to have it's 'Net access withdrawn.

They have shown, endlessly, that they can't be trusted with it.

For full details and the biggest laugh you have had in ages read this site thoroughly...

Somewhat fortunately, my email providerer is not letting me access my emails online. I can read some via my phone but not all messages if they are HTML so I've fed him that line which should hold good for a couple of days till the money should arrive.
