Your mother's close friend is a true embodiment of typically (especially the more mature citizen) Austrian thinking. As one can imagine we spend some time in the 'old country' with relatives of the wife's grandparents and siblings. The residual Anti-Semitism still remains and horrifies. There is no real doubt over Schwarzenegger's family history. Only the lies that seek to cover. No wonder Josef's family escaped to Sweden.

Even to this day, poor old Josef of Birkenau is berated by some Austrian 'friends' for helping those less fortunate. We have even been (gently/jokingly) chastised for attending Viennese performances of 'Fiddler On The Roof'. Our reaction has been swift and savage.

Rarely do I rise to anger or severe irritation but these people know how we feel and I take almost sadistic pleasure in reminding them of their history and the beliefs that made such barbarism easy in Europe at the time.

Your in a tough mood tonight Holden. For some reason your posts - when I can read them - always make me laugh even when I've not the merest idea of which you write. But there is always an underlying humanity to them.

But the mood strikes solemn tonight and your anger suits well with your polemic. More power to you and this forum needs such strength. It's just something that really fucks me off dude.
We have history shoved down our throats while we are growing up.
Every major incident has some blue collared prick wailing "We must learn from this", yet everything that we see is the exact opposite of the preachings.

If I didn't know better, I'd say they are trying to mind control us without drugs.
Society is dictated by mandates and doctrines that have been put in place by the few seeking to control the many.
If we decide to fight against these social policings, then the rest of the herd try to put us in "our place".
We have become a self policing society where anybody who dares to break from the appointed "norm" is ridiculed, laughed at, imprisoned or hounded for not falling into line.

George Orwell knew something when he wrote 1984.

If anyone thinks this is just a rant or an unfounded moan, take a look around and see what is happening around you!
Don't take my word for it Ignore the politicians.
Even with a political stance, the media will let you see enough to make your own mind up.

We were in a similar situation some 60 odd years ago and we all know what happened there.


Another problem with not following the politicl line, is that you are considered a nut or conspiracy theorist.
Odd concept and almost oxymoron in it's nature.
A conspiracy theory is something that has no solid factual proof. In short, a hypothesis. BUT, and again, a big one, if you find one just one shred of evidence, no matter how small, that casts doubt on the "fixed line story", then it is no longer a conspiracy theory, but a conspiracy - period.


For anyone that wants something funny, the mods are cunts for deleting a post I made on the other side.
I posted a fair response to some girl asking for advice which was pretty obvious anyway.
So anyway, I'd love a mod to explain why it was deleted.

And I'm one of those responsible. But you are right in so much of what you say. From a strictly personal point of view, the PC and Stepford Wives approach to learning/news/media/information is one reason I refused to go to Princeton.
