Same here I pay my Council tax as late as I can , and the squealing that goes , on it's like kicking over an ant heap.
Ask them to mend a pothole or replace a bulb in a street light - silence. B4 any smartass says it's because everyone pays late , I only do that because they are wankers .

I once complained the the local Govt Ombudsaman about my Council , they were repriomanded and the Chief Executive had to write to me and apologise. I wrote him a lovley partonising one back accepting his apologies , result!
