What exactly is the error message?

I had problems back a while which was cookie related with Yahoo
rejected the user & password forever in a day

Set up a new email account-same problem

Only solution see to be to kill the computer and start from scratch

Happy as a pig on a spit now

That's odd!
My Spybot has an uninstal feature.
Try going to add/remove software and see if it comes up in the list.
