Steve56 will have to get a DVD player.

Post by mart »

"David Carradine, riding a career resurgence as the title character in Quentin Tarantino's two-part saga Kill Bill, is revisiting his martial-arts roots with today's DVD release of season one of Kung Fu, his 1970s television series."

REALLY makes you wonder how fucking brilliant it would have been if original choice Bruce Lee appeared instead of ballet star Carradine.

Exactly.
But he was considered "Too Chinese" for the part.
What a load of bollocks.

Carradine also ended up taking Lee's part in a film written by Lee called The Silent Flute.

Carradine is a total wanker. Fucking Shaolin my arse.
This slag had the nerve to write a book on the martial way some years back.
Yeah Dave, real sweet. About as fucking good as Jean Claude Van Slag. One legged bitch kicker.

All Lee fans can rejoice with the release of the 2 disk Enter The Dragon later this year.

Still.....Holden MacGroyn

BUT WITHOUT MY BRUCE LEE SIG BECAUSE HE'S TOO HARD FOR THIS PLACE...

As Holden is our expert on Bluce Ree, can he PLEEEEEASE answer if the original VERY rarely seen footage of the original Lee concept is ever going to be released? I did see some last year on C4 and was VERY excited, but Holden dimissed it as 'seen it already'
Has a version appeared as an extra on DVD or are we stuck with the dire version that appeared in 1978?

Is there a site or an address for the 2nd disc Ghost?
I DO like the dire 1st film for 2 reasons, 'our' house is in a background scene (Macau ferry crossing) and the motorcycle fight was filmed in the underground carpark at Murray Building (the one with the angelled windows) where the old man worked in HK in the 70's
