Are you saying John Lee Malvo is an immigrant? If he isn't wtf has he got to do with your rant about loose immigration controls?

How involved is UK with U..S.A

No, you are quite correct Bimmercat, we didn't get any armaments from the French or the Russians. But perhaps that was because they had other things on their mind - like being occupied by the Germans or fighting them.

George W Bush goes to a primary school to talk about the war. After his
talk he invites questions.
One little boy puts up his hand, and the President asks him his name.
"Billy!"
"And what is your question, Billy?"
"I have three questions," says the boy. "First - why did the USA invade
Iraq without the support of the UN?; Second - why are you President when
Al Gore got more votes?; and Third - whatever happened to Osama bin
Laden?"
Just then the bell rings for recess. George W Bush informs the children
that they will continue after recess.
When they resume, the President says: "Okay where were we? Oh that's
right, question time. Who has a question?"
A different little boy puts his hand, George points him out and asks his
name.
"Steve!"
"And what is your question, Steve?"
"I have five questions: First - why did the USA invade Iraq without the
support of the UN?; Second - why are you President when Al Gore got more
votes?; Third - whatever happened to Osama bin Laden?; Fourth - why did
the recess bell go 20 minutes early?; and Fifth - what happened to Billy?"

Ah, point taken. Deport all immigrants so that the ones that would be perfectly good citizens are gone along with the potential criminals. Which category do your ancestors fall into Bimmercat?

Re: How involved is UK with U..S.A
The jet engine was being developed by several people or groups of people in different countries. The two main pioneers were Messershmidt and (Sir) Frank Whittle. The engine developed by the Germans proved to be unreliable in the long term, whilst Whittle's design was far less complicated and more reliable. This is the design that all modern jet engines are based on.
Whilst the Germans were the first to use a jet engine in a combat plane (the ME262), Whittle had designed a working jet engine as early as 1937. The first jet engine designed by Whittle to actually power a plane was flown in May 1941.
Whittle's biggest problem was that, as a member of the RAF, his designs did not belong to him but to the country, and some idiots in the various ministries responsible, back in the late 30's, decided to put the initial development of the jet engine in the hands of Rover, a car manufacturer, who quite logically, tried to design an engine that would power a car!
With regard to lend/lease, we know when it started by looking in official records! The Lend Lease Act was passed on 11 March 1941 in the UK parliament. On the same day, the US Congress passed a similar act. I agree that some new armaments were provided in the shape of British designed rifles being built in US factories (where German bombers couldn't reach them!). These, however, were at cost of nearly 3 times what they would have cost to make at home. The bulk of the lend lease programme was made up of 32 old US destroyers, the most famous of which was HMS Campbeltown (formerly USS Buchanan) which was used as a sort of suicide ship to destroy the submarine pens at St Nazaire in 1942.
With regard to what I said about Israel... I NEVER said YOU were pro-Israeli (maybe before you get on your high horse you might care to learn the English language so that you may better understand what is being written!). What I said was given that Israel had broken so many UN resolutions (and that being one of the criteria you put forward for the invasion of Iraq) I fully expected the US to invade Israel next, then remembered how stuck up the arse of the Jewish lobby most US politicians are, lest they lose votes!
