Ah! I'm onto the next stage, I've been given the phone/fax and name of the London contact.
What's hilarious about this particular version of the scam is that the money is allegedly what's left from the slush fund that Mugabe set up to rig the last elections in Zimbabwe and the guys offering me a big share are claiming to be members of the Electoral Commission. If this was for real they would have already been rumbled and gently interrogated by some kind Zimbabwean secret policemen.
I wonder if I can blackmail them.....lol

Oh, hang on, I'm beginning to think its real.

Did anyone else get the Foundation Lottery email? (last year sometime) It said I had won $500,000 lol. Not sure what the scam was though, but I didn't call the number to register the claim, probably a premium rate jobby. Strangely you could register by email, but I didn't hear anything after that !!

Hi Mart,

This has been done before. See

By the way, where Haxial poses as James Kirk, Klaas de Vries uses a photo of the comedian Andr? van Duin, world-famous in the Netherlands.

"Klaas de Vries uses a photo of the comedian Andr? van Duin, world-famous in the Netherlands."

Is that like the Lemon & Paeroa drink known here as "L & P, world famous in New Zealand!"?

Never heard of the stuff. Outside New Zealand it is probably just as well-known as Andr? van Duin is outside the Netherlands (except Flemish-speaking Belgium perhaps).
Van Duin specializes in impersonating retarded people and quite of few of my fellow-countrymen think this irresistibly funny. (Just to give you an idea of what the rest of the world is missing...)
