Chewing The Fat was good, though, like The Fast Show, depended a bit too much on the same stock catch phrases ("Gonna no dae that" etc), though the running gag about the mother boasting to all her (and his) friends about her son having started the masturbation was superb. Still Game is wonderful---more accessible than Rab C.
As for Deacon Blue, I think they still do the odd show---Ricky Ross is still in music, his other half does mostly acting now, and that nob-end Dougie Vipond thinks he's a TV presenter.
Oh, and JJ swore he was up that ladder looking for a lesser spotted avocet. If I'd known he was looking at nurses, I'd never have gone along with it.
