I would NEVER buy an autograph, even if the establishment that deals with them offered me a COA.
The ONLY genuine ones are the ones you have obtained yourself, you know they are real.
Its well known that Joe Strummer ALWAYS signed his name to the person requesting it incase that person was intent on selling it on, and would lose money if it was dedicated.
Iv'e seen some Strummer autographs that do look fake, but as he's dead, they are fetching OTT prices

i wouldnt buy autos either,i still have sonja kristinas from curved air when she signed my albums in the mid 70s.

Yeh I'd agree with that on autographs. Never seen the point in them really, wholly sycophantic and realistically completely pointless if they aren't personalised
