Digital Cameras

Post by andsum »

Can anyone tell me the best site on the internet to buy a digital Camera.

I'm thinking of buying the Olympus Mju 400. Would like to get a additional 128mb card with the package as well.

Cheers

Hi Andy,Ace is right Ebay does have the best bargains but if you want to buy from a net supplier try

or
<http://www.PhotoFactory.co.uk
Both have the MJU400 in stock at around ?300 However Photo Factory have the Oly C5000 at the same price. Most of these palces do deals on extra memory,so good luck.

Just bought my first digital camera Sony dsc-p12 on Amazon ?309.Absolutely fantastic..extremely easy to use, especially for a beginner. 5.25 megapixels,2 batteries, leather case and the picture quality is superb..far better than anyone else i know gets from theirs. One possible drawback is memory is quite pricey but a 128mb card can be bought from amazon for ?41.10 instead of ?69.99 in dixons or ?79.99 in argos.Had it about 10 days now and i could'nt be more chuffed with it! Think i've seen the kit for sale somewhere on the net for ?298 in the last couple of days.

The mju 300 (I got it a while ago) is a good little camera. I got mine from internetcamerasdirect.co.uk - they do next day delivery and will usually chuck in a higher capacity memory card for a bit extra.

is certainly good. If you are after a more serious camera, Park Cameras do unbeatable prices on digital SLRs such as the new Pentax *ist D. Some nutter has been trying to sell one on EBay today for ?1,400. Park have them for just over ?1,100. So, don't assume EBay is always cheapest.

Hence the instruction "Watch the birdy!!!".

I understand that its better to buy your camera abroad, somewhere like the Canaries where they are going cheep.

Booom Boom!!!!!
