Punk Aid Xmas single "Eres Your Xmas"

Hi All

I know this is a shameless plug but with good reason.

Punk Aid (a charity that I am involved with) is releasing their christmas single next monday the 15th December.

The Single was written by Mr Captain Sensible and Martin Newell (The Independent Newspaper Poet) with vocals by captain and Mr Charlie Harper of the UK Subs (who is still punking at 60 years old) with contributions from the Electric Prunes, Mark P Carla Winters from Pop Idol (the girl who got slated by Cowell for getting her boobs out) Big Rik waller plus many more.

The song has a dig at manufactured pop plus getting the point across that not everyone is going to have a merry time this xmas.

The Video which features Nasty Nick, Jo Guest as the Punk Xmas Fairy along with some page 3 lovelies can be seen via this link

Yes, Punk Aid is very worthwhile, and I recall a similar plug last year as Jo Guest was involved then as well.
Can you forward details of this charity to my email addy? Im well-known as being the 'punk rocker' on this forum and am always happy to recieve anything worthwhile to do with punk

Jo is a massive Punk aid supporter, loves the music (she is learning bass guitar at the moment) comes to the festival and gets absolutely mullered along with the rest of us.

Good to see Charlie Harper still giving it large. The UK Subs were always a firm favourite of mine, and Charlie was always a great guy, I remember seeing them in Preston in 1980, and Charlie Harper gave me ?5 for my train fare as he was worried about me hitching home as a unstreetwise 14 year old...LOL.
Top Guy I have just dug out "Brand New Age" and it still cuts the mustard nearly 25 years on.
