One song/piece of music

Post by Pervert »

Okay, you're lying on your death bed, moments to go before Jim Reaper kicks the bucket for you. What song or piece of music would you want to ease you into eternity? Or, failing that, which song would you inflict on the mourners at your funeral?

In the first instance, I'd like to leave in a cool, mellow groove: so, probably The Isleys and Summer Breeze, or Stevie Wonder's I Believe (When I Fall In Love).

For the funeral, it's tempting to choose the best of Celine Dion to torture the bastards for not appreciating me while I was alive, but I'd probably go for REM's Everybody Hurts or, in ironic mood, I Don't Believe In Miracles (Colin Blunstone).

Blue Oyster Cult- Don't Fear the Reaper?
Or maybe Meddle- entire (should keep me alive for another few weeks until it's finished).

ARE YOU STILL HERE, MAGOO?

Very nice JJ-such empathy...makes me wanna cry

Personally I'm thinking of having it written into my will
that Highway to Hell-AC/DC or Louis Armstrongs-Its a Wonderful World
be played due to being the split personality that I am

For me there could only be "Everybody Loves You When Your Dead" by Cop Shoot Cop.

I'd find this soooooo comforting.
