Film 2003

Post by lovemunkey187 »

On tonights film 2003 they had the top ten worst films

1) Titanic

2) A.I.: Artificial Intelligence

3) Pearl Harbor

4) Vanilla Sky

5) The Blair Witch Project

6) Batman And Robin

7) The Avengers

8) Battlefield Earth

9) Eyes Wide Shut

10) Highlander II - The Quickening

Other films that I would've liked to have seen on this list were,

Monsters Ball, What ending?

Last Night, Obscure Canadian film-makinat it's worst

Hannibal, I actually slept through most of this at the cinema

anything by Woody Allen, just because

Eyes Wide Shut, already there

Any others people would like to see, or rather not have to see again?

We got both kindsa music here. We got Country and Western

Batman And Robin should have been the worst. I managed to watch 15 minutes of it before switching it off and dropkicking the video out the window. Closely followed by Independence Day, Highlander II (eh? what? talk about plot switching), Robin Hood: Prince Of Cheese, oh and What Lies Beneath (a nice going little ghost story, that throws every cliche in towards the end).

AI might have succeeded better if the schmaltzy Schpielberg hadn't ladled it on thick at the end. And Vanilla Sky was thought-provoking. I haven't seen any of the others you mentioned (my choice), but I don't know how Titanic can be considered a bad film when you consider the happy ending: Leo dies!

I like Woody allen ...... because I like Jazz and New york Jewish humor !

But I feel the list can not be complete with out 2-3 Robin Williams films

Toys / Jack / Mrs. Doubtfire / (his remake of "La Cage aux Folles," should make him more hated with the french than any English man)

My number one still has to be '' In the Mouth of Madness '' .

It matters not. Replacing Barry Norman with Johnny Dross was like replacing a Bentley with a wheel-barrow. Eyes Wide Shut? Well, indeed...
